We bought 2 new recliner sofas but our cats scratched them badly within a few weeks & they looked a complete mess. No use buying more sofas to be ruined & we love our cats. Finally decided to try covers. Tried another company's covers first, not too good as there were 6 pieces for a 2 seater recliner which moved when used & didn't look good. Tried Menotti (one piece covers) & impressed. Fit well, relatively easy to put on & look nice. Yes they are covers (microfibre) not new sofas but do exactly what we want, cover all the scratches, look nice & feel comfortable (we prefer the feel of sitting on the covers to the original Imitation leather!) & the cats dont claw them. Will buy again when needed.

These covers are an investment, but they are good quality, were delivered promptly and have so much stretch they covered my 2 seater recliners really well. I have two dogs so wanted something to protect the sofas but that looked good and didnt keep slipping, like the previous covers I was using.
